Afteroom es un estudio de diseño con sede en Estocolmo, fundado y dirigido por Hung-Ming Chen y Chen-Yen Wei. El dúo de diseñadores mira al pasado como un camino hacia el futuro, con la intención de ser también una rica fuente de inspiración para los diseñadores emergentes. Famoso por su colaboración con la marca Menu, Afteroom ha realizado productos de elegancia sobria, minimalista y refinada, como la silla Afteroom Bar Chair, el taburete Afteroom Counter Chair, el perchero Afteroom.
Sometimes the designers are inspired by past styles and shapes such as the Afteroom armchair, which is nothing but the result of the union between two symbolic pieces that date back to the first years of Modernism: the Thonet Bentwood armchair by Michael Thonet and the Spanish Chair by Børge Mogensen. Afteroom’s mission is to create beautiful products that acquire more and more value over time. A design that keeps us company for life.
