Among these the Sendai Mediatheque, winner of the Ward Architecture Award in 2002. Founder of the Ito & Associates, Architects, Toyo Ito dedicates himself even to interior design, investigating on the tactile and visual potentiality of materials and on the relationship between structure and shell.
